Theres a lot going on this weekend. Orlando is having a bmx contest that should be huge! Alliance in Grand prairie will be having a qualifying contest for anybody interested in skating in the d-town throwdown on tuesday. and fontana, well its supposed to rain in fontana so not too much going on there (if it doesn't rain, woo hoo, Party on)

The D-Town Throwdown is coming to dallas again. This time there will be a bigger prize purse and also a special appearance by Ryan Sheckler and Brandon Biebel. If you think you have what it takes to be in the contest, check out the D-Town Throwdown website for more information on how to qualify.

After all this rain stops, Fontana north will be having a New Years Bowl Bash on Saturday. It will be in the Roman Bowl of the North Park. There is $500 up for grabs so get your leopard print pads out and go shred!

Hey if you have any love for Action park alliance and orlando skate park then cruise over to www.surfexpo.com and vote for the osp team to compete at the surf expo in january. its called the bangers for bucks contest and if our guys get in they have a chance at $15,000 in cash and prizes. since surf expo has been coming to orlando for so many years, it only makes sense that our guys should be able to go there and represent o-town's finest. go show some love!

FIGHT NIGHT ON FRIDAY NIGHT HAS BEEN GETTING INTENSE WITH THE CASH PRIZES GETTING BIGGER AND BIGGER EACH FRIDAY. LAST BUT NOT LEAST ITS HALLOWEEN TIME SO WE WILL BE HAVING A HALLOWEEN STYLE FIGHT NIGHT OCT 30TH AT ALL THE PARKS and grand prairie will be hosting a lock-in that night too. action park alliance will be holding a contest down the 6-stair at the american airlines center in downtown dallas on november 6th, right before the dallas stars hockey game. a few new things to look for on the websites are: the twitter updates right in front of you as your looking at your parks home page. It will give you a day to day update of happenings at your local park (i.e. its raining, parks dry, etc...) and also offering online coupons that you can print out and save you some dough on your next purchase. click on your local park to check it for your self.

another weekend of events went down this past weekend. grand prairie had an awesome turnout for the miniramp contest and all the parks jammed out on friday for the slurpee skate jam. thanks to those who showed up and be sure to come back out this weekend for another fun filled weekend with the concrete showdown in orlando and go skate day events at all of our parks on the 21st. get out and skate!

well its that time of year again where the sun is shining, school is out and the skatepark becomes a second home for some. we have a lot in store this summer. to start it out we got the gatorade free flow tour contest at the fontana north park this weekend and in Orlando and Grand Prairie be sure to come out to the Schools out slurpee party with free entry, manny pad contest and a live band. stay tuned!

Summer is approaching and if your looking for something to do rather than sit around and play video games, all alliance parks will be running summer skate camps all summer long. its a great time to learn what skating is and how to improve in the sport. check your park for more information.
